1979 John Allmand 34ft sedan deluxe
1979 John Allmand 34ft sedan deluxe, sportfish with bad 454's. Email dvrdave@hotmail.com for full spread of photos. This is a complete boat with huge cabin, full galley, head, A/C, all the running gear, but the 454's were filled with water, and are siezed. This boat was built by Bertram designer John Allmand and similar and usually even older 34' Allmands are listed accross the country ranging from $20,000 to $30,000. I know this one needs between $3000 to $5000 to get it a running, but fixed-up nice it would be worth at least $20K. The boat did not sink, but was filled with rain water till the canal water started coming in the thru hull fittings so the engines got filled with mostly fresh rain water. It was pumped out and stayed docked in the water for two months before I bought it, so the hull is fine and water tight. It has been out of the water for two years as of now, and the engines were never touched. Once again THE ENGINES MUST BE REBUILT!!! There is a small amount of fiberglass damage to the port rubrail, but the glass matting for the repair is included with the boat. The v-birth cabin is nice, the head and kitchen are complete and intact, the salon is bare with a very solid floor and big enough to throw a party in. It is setup with tinted glass, and sliding door to the cockpit. There is an A/C unit, and huge under deck storage area for a genset and lots of extra gear. The only catch to buying this boat is that the flybridge makes it 15ft tall on the trailer, and it will not pass under most of the tree limbs on my road, or traffic lights! I will assist in the removal of the flybridge for no charge and I have a big forklift for placing it down on the bow. Also, The trailer is not included in the sale of the boat, you will need to remove the boat from the trailer the day it is delivered to your location.
